Addiction is it real?
Is sobriety real and possible?
If you come from a place where everything is possible and life is all about possibilities. Then sobriety is defiantly a possibility. So how does one create a possibility? Nothing is possible with out intention, then action then the result of the action.
To have an intention to do, or have something is merely a small percentage of the result, and action 99.99% of the final result. Should you want to cross a river and have the intention to do so, and you take no action there will be no result. By taking action and starting to move forward and crossing the river. You might start by walking, due to the shallowness of the water near the bank of the river, then as the water becomes deeper you might have to result in swimming, until you reach the shallow water on the other side you will start walking again. When you reach the other side the intention of crossing the river has a result, only possible by taking action. The action always changes, you apply the appropriate action for the circumstances or position you are in at that time, but it remains action. On the journey to sobriety you must have the intention for sobriety, then you have to take action, the action you take will change all the time, so when this is not the same as you intended it to be, you have to do a different actions to get to the result of sobriety.
This all sounds very simple, the reality is, that it is very simple. We complicate life so much that nothing seems simple anymore. By keeping your life simple the choices you make will work for you, it’s that simple. I do not use this term lightly, you have to keep it simple.
